How to Participate:“When Koala Meets Panda” 2019 China-Australia Youth Short Video Contest
Australian participants are required to make a short video that depicts modern China through their eyes. Chinese participants are required to submit a short video telling stories regarding how Chinese young people understand Australia. The length of the video should be 30 seconds – 3 minutes.
There is no limitation in terms of the form and angle of entries. For Australian participants, content could include but not limited to trips to China, memories about China, China-related activities or phenomena. Videos introducing personal stories about China, or portraying the friendly social environment to Chinese people and their bonds to local Chinese communities in Australia are also acceptable. Similarly, Chinese participants are required to submit videos about their stories about Australia, including introducing the local customs and cultural traditions of Australia, or telling the story of his or her travel experience and study experience and so on.
The video can be filmed with mobile phones or professional devices. It can be produced individually or with friends.
Participants need to post their videos on their own social media accounts between August 1, 2019 to November 11, 2019 with the hashtag #whenkoalameetspanda and @ one of the event’s official accounts:
