Ways to Participate: “When Koala Meets Panda” 2021 China-Australia Youth Short Video Contest
Participants are required to create a shot video of 10 seconds to 3 minutes in length with Chinese or Australian elements. Australian participants can either tell about their trips to China or share their China-related memories; they can tell a personal story related to China or show off their Chinese talents or collections. Chinese participants can share their experience of studying abroad, living or traveling in Australia, as well as show their understanding of Australian culture. Chinese and Australian participants can also jointly introduce Chinese phenomena and Chinese activities around Australia, or show the interesting cultural integration and cultural differences between China and Australia.
There is no limitation in terms of the form and angle of entries. Video presentation forms include, but are not limited to, talking to camera, scene interpretation, drawing, sand painting, animation display, singing, rapping, etc. The video can be filmed with mobile phones or professional devices.
Participants need to post their videos on their own social media accounts between September 1st, 2021 to November 30th, 2021 with the hashtag #koalameetspanda and @one of the event's official accounts:
